All Churches Die ... Some Churches never really live

My friend Roger Blackmore did a great post today on the 3 stages of a churches development. Its a great read. Click here.

He based his thoughts on a quote I read every day as I pass a huge poster of William Wallace (Mel Gibson) at the top of my stairs. The original quote is:

"All men die but not all men truly live."

Death is certain how we live is up for grabs. In Roger's words our choice is Settle Down or Surge Forward. One life surging forward into the promises of God is transformational. A group of Jesus followers, a church, grasping hold of the heart of God is unstoppable.
