Suddenly!

Day 3 - Rediscovering the Christmas Season

Suddenly, God’s angel stood among them and God’s glory blazed around them. Luke 2 v 9

Suddenly is defined as; happening, made or done quickly, without warning,or unexpectedly.

The Shepperd's were spending another dreary night under the stars caring for their flock. Something they had probably done 100's of times. It doesn't sound the most fantastic job leaving your family at home and taking the night shift. Trying to pass the hours with one eyes on the sheep and thoughts on their humdrum worries. Just another normal night.

Then everything changes. No build up. Heaven bursts into their world. I have always thought it was neat that God went to a hillside to find totally ordinary people that everything was about to change.

Jesus spent his life suddenly showing up into the lives of so many people.

God still shows up suddenly and like the Shepperd's what can we do but tell everyone we meet about Jesus.
