God doesn't play hide and seek

Day 19 - Rediscovering the Christmas Season

This is not a cat-and-mouse, hide-and-seek game we’re in. - Luke 11 v 10

When it comes to conversing with God Jesus makes it plain. He is there ready willing and able to talk to us 24/7.

But still sometimes its like we don't know where God is.
Clearly its not with God that the problem exists.
We can't blame God even though we sometimes would like to.

Maybe we go looking for him in the wrong places.
Like a dad playing hide and seek with his little toddler.
Wanting to be found, making it easy to be found.
But still the toddler keeps going back to previously explored places. Where dad was not to be found a few seconds ago but somehow the thought is that by revisiting dad will miraculously appear.

God wants to be found. And like the wise men at the birth of His Son he is always ready to guide you home.

As someone once said:

"When you see God’s hands in everything, it is easy to leave everything in God’s hands."
