Day 11 - Rediscover the Christmas Season

God, make a fresh start in me, shape a Genesis week from the chaos of my life. - Ps 51 v 10

King David's life was in chaos.
Looking had turned to lust.
Pursuit of God turned to pursuit of a woman.
Desire for God became a desire for another man's wife.
The king became the adulterer.
The adulterer became the schemer.
The worship leader became the murderer.

And his world came crashing down.
He let himself down.
He let his family down.
He let his friends down.
He let his people down.
He let his God down.

So he asks the creator of the universe to bring order out of the chaos of what was his life.
Self inflicted but not self repairable.

God steped into the chaos to bring forgivness and healing.
He became a God of the second chance to David.
He continues to be that for me.
And he can be that for you.
