Day 7 - Rediscovering the Christmas Season

“Always keep fresh Bread of the Presence on the Table before me. " Ex 25 v 22

In Exodus 25 and the surrounding chapters God goes into great detail about what his Tabernacle and items within it should be like.

On the list is that the "Showbread" or Bread of The Presence should always be fresh on the table before the Ark of the Covenant. Somehow it signified that this relationship between God and his people always remained fresh.

Jesus went on to say "I am that bread of life".

Why do we so often choose to let the most important relationship we have go stale?

We now have free access into God's presence anytime we want. No waiting around for a prearranged set day but the ability to connect with God in a new and fresh way everyday.
