Can God trust YOU with a blessing

Last night I took the opportunity to watch Perry Noble teach his latest message at Newspring Church.

He recounted the story in 2 Kings 4 about a widow of a man of God who was in debt and on the verge of loosing her sons into slavery. Asking Elisha for help she is told to collect all the jars she could and then pour the oil she had into these jars. Miraculously she kept pouring until all the jars she had were full. Only then did the oil run out.

What she did next helps us to understand the heart of the lady.

She came and told the man of God, and he said, Go, sell the oil and pay your debts, and you and your sons can live on the rest. (v7)

She took her blessing and brought it back to God and asked what should she should do with it. She asked for help, received it but still was prepared to give it back. Truly amazing!
