God reigns Always

1 Samuel 5 v 1

Even when everything looks disastrous God still reigns.

Israel faced humiliation through their own disobedience and stupidity. Defeated in battle, lost the precious Ark of God, their leader dead. It couldn't get much worse.

But we read that the Philistine god Dragon's statue kept falling down before the Ark of God. No matter how bad it seems God always reigns.

We used to sing a old song in church based on Psalm 97.
