Can your God rescue you?

Judges 10 v14 - "Go and cry out to the gods you have chosen! Let them rescue you in your hour of distress!"

This is what God's answer to his people when they his people wondered away from him again and again to worship other God's. Even with the incredible examples from their history of God's faithfulness somehow they ended up serving other God.

I think maybe today our God's are a little different but what can take the place of our complete and utter devotion to God:

* Career
* Car
* House
* Money
* Kids
* Body
* Hobby
* Sport
* TV

The list goes on. Anything that takes the place of God.

What do we focus on more than God? What takes our time, talent & treasure? And what would happen if God left us exposed for them to come to our rescue in our time of need?

Don't wait till the crisis hits you in the face to start to really get to know God.
