Limitless

7“Do you think you can explain the mystery of God?
Do you think you can diagram God Almighty?

8 God is far higher than you can imagine,
far deeper than you can comprehend,

9 Stretching farther than earth’s horizons,
far wider than the endless ocean. Job 11 v 7 - 9

Wiktionary defines Limitless as "Without limits in extent, size, quantity, and/or comprehensive perception; boundless"

Job's friend is trying his best to describe a limitless God. He uses the most expansive words and ideas he could imagine. Oceans and horizons to him seemed limitless. Today we know that the oceans are finite so we may use different language to try to describe a limitless God. Billions upon billions of light years in distance to stars flung far across our universe or delving into the world of atoms, protons and the like.

But with all our progress of pushing back the boundaries of our own limits we still do not scratch the surface of His limitless existence.
