No Compromise

Exodus 10

Reaching a compromise is not one of my strong points. So often in life being able to compromise or at least find a better way is useful but at other times it is vital not to entertain it.

Moses was asked a number of times by Pharaoh to compromise. (Ex 10) Just take the men, leave the livestock. The call was to do something less than God had told him to do. Moses was not prepared to budge one bit. Moses answer:

Moses replied, "We will all go—young and old, our sons and daughters, and our flocks and herds. We must all join together in celebrating a festival to the Lord ."

My favourite singer songwriter still is Keith Green and I loved reading his biography entitled - No Compromise. Taken from his wife's song "Make my life a prayer to you". The opening verse:

Make my life a prayer to You
I wanna do what you want me to
No empty words and no white lies
No token prayers no compromise
