The day has finally arrived. The World Cup is starting today.
But there is something missing, been missing for the last few World Cups: - SCOTLAND.
So here is a trip down memory lane to "Ally's Tartan Army"(1978), with the classic line in it:
"England cannae d it, cos they didna qualify!" - Those were the days.

I was reminiscing yesterday my first World Cup memory was from 1974 when the Smith twins left the Sunday School picnic early to go watch the Scotland v Yugoslavia game.
I watch the highlights of subsequent World Cups on the BBC and they seem like yesterday.
We're supporting Spain, our James' favourite team is Barcelona.
