India - Victor Palla

On Monday Morning I board an emirates flight to Hyderabad which will start me on a new venture on mission with LightForce International (the Mission's arm of MKCC) to a continent that I have not yet visited. I will have the opportunity to visit two people doing some incredible work. The first being Victor Palla. I first met Victor when I attended Mattersey Hall Bible College back in 1982.

Afterwards Victor moved to Palakonda to start a brand new Church from scratch. Over the last 20+ years, and several hundred conversions later, Victor runs a thriving church with over 30 congregations in the surrounding hills and villages. It is this Church that provides the basis for supporting a number of aid projects.

Jehovah Jireh Ministries based in Palakonda, Andhra Pradesh, activities  include:

  • Support through sponsorship of widows, providing for their food and medical care.
  • Support through sponsorship of children, providing for their food, school fees and uniform
  • Digging and maintenance of deep bore wells in villages where availability of water is limited
  • Annual provision of new saris and a Christmas meal for over 500 poor widows
I am honoured and excited to hooking up with Victor his wife and family.
