Missing what God says

But when Moses delivered this message to the Israelites, they didn’t even hear him—they were that beaten down in spirit by the harsh slave conditions. - Ex 6 v 9

God's message.
Delivered by God's messenger.
To God's people.

Perfect! Its what we are all looking for.

But God's people missed the message because of their circumstances.
To be honest maybe they had a right.
They were in the middle of an awful situation.
To an extent that their spirit was crushed.

But don't miss the voice of God because it contains salvation and hope even in the vilest of situations.

When your heart and spirit is crushed for years. Although there are times of great joy, it is very hard to know for sure God will bring you through it all.

I know that this is hard to hear, but when your heart and spirit is truly Crushed, especially for an extended period of time, is when you should be able to hear God's desires for you through the Very Real Spirit if Christ. I spent 13 years in prison and was released into a world of easily grasped sinful pleasures. My world began to spiral downward from an already extremely low place. It was at that time that God was CLEARLY speaking to me through radio, dreams, reading, and barely heard outside conversations. All that you have to do is step out in Faith and give up that which is desirable to you at point in your life, and Jesus will CLEARLY make HIS desires for you be known. It is a give and take relationship. When you have very little left, it is easier to give up the few things that you do have for God! You will be rewarded with revaltion after revelation by our Lord, and he will be So Very Happy to bless you each time that you give up a worthless aspect of your life for his returned revelations.
